How to Verify an Online Casino Brand: Operator, Licence Register and Official Domain

To verify a casino brand, match three things the site says about itself: the company named in its terms, the licence and number in its footer, and the domain that licence covers. Then look for that company on the regulator’s own list, not on a review site. When we ran this check on 14 brands that market to Canadian players on October 19 and 20, 2026, eight named both an operator and a licence, and seven of those eight sites belong to just three companies. The table at the end of this page shows what each brand states, with the date and the document we read.

Who operates the casino?

The operator is the company you have a contract with. It is named in the first section of the terms and conditions, usually again in the footer. Look for a full legal name, a country and a registration number, then check that the footer and the terms agree.

In our table, which records what each site showed to visitors in Canada, JeetCity and MoonWin both name Novatrix SRL, a Costa Rica company with registration number 3-102-893958. Spinrise, Boho Casino and SlotsGallery name Metlait SRL, registration 3-102-911867. NorthSpin and WishKing name Rapiso Limitada, registration 3-102-901768. Holyluck names 3-102-950752 LTDA, also incorporated in Costa Rica. When two brands share an operator, their terms can be close to identical: MoonWin’s withdrawal section uses the same wording and limits as JeetCity’s.

Which licence does the site show, and where is it registered?

Read the licence line in the footer and in the terms: the regulator’s name, the licence number and, ideally, a seal you can click. To visitors in Canada, five brands in our table display an Anjouan licence (ALSI-202508056-FI2 for the Novatrix sites, ALSI-202509073-FI2 for the Metlait sites). Holyluck, NorthSpin and WishKing display a Tobique Gaming Commission licence, number 0000174.

Each regulator publishes its list differently, and that changes what a lookup can prove:

  • Tobique Gaming Commission. Its site, thetgc.ca, has a License Holders page with company names, licence type (B2C or B2B) and expiry date. On October 19, 2026 it listed 173 B2C and 24 B2B entries. It does not list licence numbers or websites, so you match by company name. Seals on licensed sites can link to validate.thetgc.ca, which names the company and its registered websites.
  • Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission. It publishes a permit-holder list and runs a logo certificate program.
  • Curaçao Gaming Authority. Its register lists licensee companies, not brands, and the authority itself warns that the overviews do not guarantee current validity.
  • Malta Gaming Authority. It offers a Licensee Register and a URL Checker for websites.
  • Anjouan. We could not find an official public register of Anjouan licensees (searched October 19, 2026). Seals on licensed sites link to validation pages; the useful check is whether the company and website on that page match the footer.

A licence from any of these bodies is not a provincial registration. In Ontario, iGaming Ontario says every site offered by a registered operator displays the iGaming Ontario and BetGuard logos, and its directory listed 84 sites from 49 operators as of September 1, 2026. In Alberta, the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) says a regulated site shows the AiGC logo and the Responsible Gambling Council RG Check seal; its directory listed 51 sites when we read it.

Which domain is the official one?

The official domain is the one the brand names in its own terms and footer, and the one its licence seal is issued for. A redirect alone does not tell you which address is primary. We typed each brand’s main address from a Canadian connection and recorded where it ended up:

  • JeetCity, MoonWin and Spinrise opened at their own address with no redirect.
  • bohocasino.com and bohocasino1.com each opened the same site without redirecting. The footer on both names bohocasino.com, and the seal is issued for that address.
  • northspin.com redirected to northspin1.com, and the seal’s validation page lists both addresses as the licensee’s websites.
  • herospin2.com redirected to herospin.com, and wildsino-7474.com redirected to wildsino.com.

The mirror pattern is covered in more detail, brand by brand, in our guide to casino brands with mirror domains.

What does the brand table show?

Three observations stand out from the 14 rows.

  1. Three companies, seven brands. Novatrix SRL, Metlait SRL and Rapiso Limitada account for seven of the fourteen brands. One licence number can therefore appear on several sites, and the website list on the validation page is what ties a licence to a specific domain.
  2. Canada is not a restricted country in any terms we could read. That held for all ten brands whose terms loaded for us. JeetCity’s terms, for example, set the minimum age at 18 or the legal age in the player’s country.
  3. Payment pages differ in how much they publish. HeroSpin and Wildsino publish a payments page for Canada in Canadian dollars with Interac limits for deposits and withdrawals, while JeetCity and Spinrise show method logos in the footer and keep the cashier behind a login.

For a full profile of two of these brands, see our pages on JeetCity’s operator and licence and Boho Casino’s official domain.

How we checked

We opened each brand’s main domain from Canadian connections: Quebec on October 19, 2026 and Ontario on October 20, 2026. For every brand we read the footer, the terms and conditions (operator and restricted countries sections), the support page and, where one exists, the public payments page. We clicked licence seals and recorded what the validation page names. We did not create accounts, make deposits or accept any terms, so anything shown only after login is marked Not confirmed.

Each row has its own “Last checked” date and a Source cell naming the brand document and the domain where we read it. We do not link to brand sites from this table. Our methodology explains how we rank sources and how we correct errors.

What we could not confirm

  • CrownGreen. When we checked on October 19 and 20, 2026, the address crowngreen.com returned no DNS record, so no site, terms or licence could be read there. We have not identified another official domain for the brand.
  • Trueluck, Spinorhino and Spinalto. Their terms did not load for us on October 20, 2026, so operator, licence and restricted countries are Not confirmed.
  • Cashier details. Per-method limits and withdrawal options for JeetCity, Spinrise and Boho Casino sit behind a login or sign-up window.

Run the check yourself

  1. Open the terms and conditions and copy the operator’s legal name, country and registration number from section 1.
  2. Compare it with the footer. The two should name the same company and the same licence number.
  3. Click the licence seal. Note the company and the websites it lists, and check that the address in your browser is one of them.
  4. Search the regulator’s own list for the company name: thetgc.ca for Tobique, gamingcommission.ca for Kahnawà:ke, cga.cw for Curaçao, mga.org.mt for Malta.
  5. If you play in Ontario or Alberta, look the site up in the iGaming Ontario directory or the AiGC list of registered sites. Each province publishes its own list, and a licence from elsewhere does not put a site on it.
  6. Write down the date. Footers, licences and redirects change.
