Affiliate disclosure

CasinoProofDesk is paid for by affiliate commissions. We may earn a commission when a reader reaches a casino through a link on this site and then opens an account or plays.

Partner links are buttons that name the casino. On our guides and brand pages they appear in four places:

  • a button in the site header;
  • a list headed “Casinos for players in Canada” on the home page, after the first paragraph of a page and again after its main text;
  • a Visit button in the rows of our brand table and our domain table, next to the brands that pay us;
  • a bar along the bottom of the screen.

Our Ontario brand checks and the pages about this site carry none.

Each button points to an address on our own site that begins with /visit/, which forwards you to the operator through its tracking link. These links are marked as sponsored. A tracking link can land on a different address from the one a brand names as its official domain, so check the address in your browser against the brand’s own terms when you arrive. When you follow a partner link, the operator receives the domain of our site so that it can attribute the visit. Our privacy notice describes exactly what is recorded.

Which casinos are listed, and in what order

Every casino in the lists, the header button and the bottom bar pays us commission, and each list says so beside it. A brand page puts its own brand first. The other places and their order follow our commercial arrangements: they are not a rating or a ranking, and they say nothing about a brand’s licence or status.

The list also depends on the country of your connection. Readers in Canada see the Canadian list; a welcome offer on a card is the offer as our affiliate partner listed it on the date shown, and the casino’s own terms decide what you receive. Readers in some other countries see a list for their country without offers, and readers elsewhere see no list. Our text and tables are the same for everyone.

Many casinos we write about do not pay us and have no button.

What commission does not change

It does not change the operator, licence or domain we report for a brand, the facts we include or leave out, or the date of a check. Our checks do not rate or rank brands, and the order of a list is not a verdict on any of them. Our editorial policy sets out the rules we write by.
