CasinoProofDesk
Editorial policy
These are the rules every page on CasinoProofDesk is written to.
Sources
Every fact about a named company, licence, domain, date or number comes from a source we name on the page. Official sources, such as regulators and provincial lists, are linked in the page’s source list. Casino brands’ own documents are named in the text, with the section and the date we read them, rather than linked. If a fact cannot be tied to a source, it does not go on the page.
We keep two kinds of statement apart: what an operator states, and what we observed ourselves. “The terms state three banking days” is the first kind. We do not deposit or withdraw, so we never write that a payout took a certain time.
No ratings and no invented voices
Our checks produce no ratings, scores, stars, rankings or “best of” lists. The lists of featured casinos on our pages are advertising, described under Commercial relationships below, not a ranking. We do not invent authors, experts, players, reviews, quotes, surveys or statistics. Pages are signed by the CasinoProofDesk Editorial Team.
Wording about licences and status
We describe the licence a brand displays as exactly that: the licence the site shows, with its number. We do not call a brand licensed, registered or approved in a province unless the province’s own list shows it, and we do not describe any brand as safe or trusted.
Dates
Each table row shows the date it was last checked, and each page shows the date of its oldest fact. Dates in the text are written in full, for example October 19, 2026.
How drafts are prepared
Drafts on this site are prepared with the help of AI tools. Every fact in a draft is checked against the source named on the page before the page is published, and a fact that cannot be matched to its source is removed.
Commercial relationships
Some casinos pay us a commission. Those casinos appear in our featured lists, the header button and the bottom bar, in an order set by commercial arrangements. That order is not an assessment of the brands and does not change what we report about their operator, licence or domain. A brand that pays us gets the same five checks as one that does not, and the same “Not confirmed” where a detail cannot be verified. The details are in our affiliate disclosure.
Responsible gambling
We never explain how to get around an age check, a location check, identity verification or a self-exclusion, and we never suggest depositing more money to release a withdrawal. Help lines and self-exclusion programs are listed on our responsible gambling page.
Corrections
Errors reported to us are checked against the source. When a page is wrong, we correct it and update its date. Write to the address on our contact page.
